Description

This one bedroom flat faces north, is wheelchair friendly and is available from 1 June. Tenants must be 50 years or older. It consists of a lounge, balcony, open plan kitchen (with stove, built-in cupboards and space for a fridge and washing machine), a bedroom (with built-in cupboards) and a bathroom with shower. A carport is included in the rent. Bougainvilla retirement village is only a short distance from the N1 and N4 highways and is about 2.5 km from Sefako Makgatho Drive in the suburb Montana Gardens. The Montana hospital is about 3 km from the retirement village. Excellent security and access control ensure that residents are safe. All units have panic buttons for emergencies. There are a number of facilities to make life easier, such as a hairdresser, beauty salon, laundry service if needed, a village nurse who can attend to minor problems. A doctor visits the retirement village once a week. In addition, there is a kiosk where items such as bread, milk and snacks are available, as well as a coffee shop. A library, lounge area, community hall and dining room are all in the main building. Church services are conducted in the hall on Sundays. Many activities take place in the afternoons, such as card games, bingo, etc. A shuttle service takes residents to the shopping centres in the area. A frail care centre is fully operational. Electricity is prepaid with the meter in the flat. Lunchtime meals are available and 15 meals/month are compulsory. More meals may be taken if needed. The tenant pays for meals taken. The owner pays the levies and taxes.
